This ground floor flat within a Grade II Georgian listed building, lies in a designated conservation area near Eccleston Square in the City of Westminster.

The Listed Building was converted in No 4 self contained flats at the beginning of the century.

It was very clear since the initial meeting that the flat needed a full refurbishment throughout, including a new layout arrangement more suitable for a professional couple. 

CBO has assisted the Client from the early stages of the project and obtained all mandatory permissions such as Listed Building Consent, Planning approval and Freeholder License to Alter.

Once the Design stage was completed and all approvals needed were successfully obtained, CBO led the Tender stage producing all the required technical information to obtain realistic quotations from various Contractors.

CBO has also covered the role of Contract Administrator, procurement and site supervising during construction stage.

The final result went beyond Client's expectation. The two double bedroom flat has been completely re-vamped utilising modern and warm finishes to enhance the original features with a very balanced contrast. 

The existing Seating room, overlooking Ecclestone Square, has been re-modelled. The introduction of bespoke joinery has brough balance and proportion. 

The kitchen, manufactured in Italy, has been relocated and merged with the dining room in a open plan arrangement.
